These elements are fixed to a super comfortable headband which brilliantly integrates the power cords flush into the design to avoid snagging and remove bulk. The silicone strip within the headband creates rigidity and traction to ensure a secure fit. This slick looking headband has ergonomic buckles for easy adjustment and soft textile details.Designed to keep the runners focus on the trail, not the gear, this innovative headlamp uses Intelligent Light, Silvas customised light distribution technology. This system offers a long reach spotlight and a close range floodlight for better control, higher speed and improved balance. The large onoff button can be used even with gloves to toggle between four light brightness levels maximum, medium, minimum and a flashing safety light. Silva have also introduced a new feature called Maximum Mode Indication. When in minimum mode and toggling back to maximum, the headlamp will emit a short flash first to tell you that you are back in maximum mode; something which is super helpful when youre tired or running in bad weather.Powering the Silva Trail Runner Free 2 Headlamp is easy, thanks to the flexible battery options.
